Model Flying New Zealand (MFNZ) is a non-profit body dedicated to the promotion and protection of Aeromodelling in New Zealand.

Model Flying New Zealand was first established as the New Zealand Model Aeronautical Association (NZMAA) in 1932 and changed to Model Flying New Zealand in 2008.

2010 F3K Trials

The SoarSIG will hold the F3K TRIALS on the 18th & 19th of September 2010 in the sunny Hawkes Bay.

$50.00 Trialist entry and $20.00 per event flyer payable at the field or by bank transfer.

Please confirm entry to this event by sending an email to the Secretary with frequency(s).

We look forward to some excellent flying at a great location. So come and join us.

NZ 2010 F3J TEAM

The FAI F3J World Championships are on the 28th July to the 8th August 2010 in France at the site of Dole-Tavaux Aerodrome.

The TEAM for 2010 is a strong team with 3 very good pilots in Joe Wurts, Scott Chisholm and Sven Zaalberg. David James is the Team Manager.

The team is currently fundraising in an effort to reduce the significant costs in getting the team to France.  If you what to make a donation then please contact the Team Manager.
